World War II 75th Anniversary
For the majority of the Poles (71%) World War II is still alive part of our history which should be remembered.
The wartime attitude of Polish citizens is the source of the national pride. 75 years after the beginning of World War II the Poles declare that they are proud mainly of the Polish Underground State, activity of the Home Army, Warsaw Uprising and 1939 Defensive War. Young people more often than interviewees on average declare that they are proud of Poles who risked their lives to help Jews.

More on that issue can be found in the CBOS report in Polish: "75th Anniversary of the Outbreak of World War II".
The data comes from the survey “Current Problems and Events” conducted from 3 to 9 July 2014.
