| Polish Reactions to the War in Ukraine
| The vast majority of Poles (88%) are following the events in Ukraine carefully. Over two thirds (68%) are helping Ukrainians in some way, e.g. through donations of money or goods. Over half (57%) are boycotting Russian products. Considerably fewer people report taking action to safeguard themselves or their family from the possible negative effects of the war: 11% are stocking up on cash, 8% are getting in supplies of food and other necessities, and 4% are stocking up on fuel. Some people are planning to leave for a safer place or are thinking about doing so, with more people of the opinion that would mean leaving the country (8%) than moving to somewhere else in Poland (4%).

| Переважна більшість поляків (88%) уважно стежить за подіями в Україні. Більш ніж дві третіх польського населення (68%) у певний спосіб допомагає українцям, наприклад матеріально чи фінансово. Більше половини (57%) бойкотує російську продукцію. Значно менша кількість осіб визнала, що для власного захисту та захисту своєї сім’ї від можливих негативних наслідків війни вживає певних заходів: 11% накопичує готівку, 8% запасається їжею та іншими найнеобхіднішими речами, 4% – паливом. Деякі планують або лише роздумують про переїзд в безпечне місце, хоча більшість на разі припускає таку можливість (8%), ніж планує зміну місця перебування в Польщі (4%).

| This ‘Current Events and Problems’ survey (383) was conducted using a mixed-mode procedure on a representative sample of named adult residents of Poland, randomly selected from the National Identity Number (PESEL) register. Respondents independently selected one of the following methods: ; Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI); Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI), respondents receiving researchers’ telephone numbers in an introductory letter from CBOS; Computer Assisted Web Interview (CAWI), where respondents filled in the online questionnaire independently, gaining access by means of a login and password provided in an introductory letter from CBOS. In all three cases the questionnaire had the same structure and comprised the same questions. The survey was carried out between 28 February and 10 March 2022 inclusive on a sample of 1078 people (56% using the CAPI method, 28.4% CATI and 15.6% CAWI). CBOS has been conducting statutory research using the above procedure since May 2020, stating in each case the percentage of personal, telephone and internet interviews.
| Дослідження «Актуальні проблеми та події» (383) проводилося методом «mixed-mode» на репрезентативній іменній вибірці повнолітніх польських мешканців, відібраних із реєстру PESEL.Кожен респондент самостійно обрав один із способів опитування: пряме інтерв'ю за участю інтерв'юера (метод CAPI); телефонне інтерв'ю після контакту з інтерв'юером CBOS (CATI) – респондент отримав контактні дані в листі-повідомленні CBOS; самостійне заповнення онлайн-анкети, доступ до якої був можливий за допомогою логіна та пароля, наданих респонденту в листі-повідомленні від CBOS. У всіх трьох випадках опитування мало однаковий набір питань і структуру. Опитування проводилося з 28 лютого по 10 березня 2022 року на вибірці з 1078 осіб (у тому числі: 56,0% за методом CAPI, 28,4% – CATI та 15,6% – CAWI). CBOS проводить статутні дослідження в рамках вищеописаної процедури з травня 2020 року, подаючи за кожним разом пропорції прямих, телефонних та інтернет-інтерв’ю.
