About Altruism
Most Polish people (69%) acknowledge that you should be sensitive to the needs of others and ready to help them, while a minority (23%) think you should focus on your own business regardless of other people. The percentage of respondents who have put theory into practice and have at some time, in an unforced voluntary capacity, helped those in need or worked for their communities has now reached 66%. This is the highest result since records began. Simultaneously, the number of people surveyed who have never done this has hit a record low (34%).
